VIVAH SANSKAR

               The VIVAH SANSKAR (as prescribed by MAHARISHI DAYANAND SARASWATI) is performed by Dharmacharya(s) in the Arya Samaj Temples, in order to let enter the couple of an eligible Hindu boy and an eligible Hindu Girl. into Grihasthashram. Vedic Mantras are enchanted in front of Yagna for prosperity in the life of the new couple.

STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS

               A set of Statutory Requirements has been notified by DELHI ARYA PRATINIDHI SABHA to do Marriage in an ARAY SAMAJ Temple of Delhi. These requirements have to be duly satisfied prior to the Marriage.

1. The Bride and Groom shall be Arya (Hindu).

2. The minimum age at the time of Marriage is 21 years for Groom and 18 years for Bride.

3. VIVAH SANSKAR should be performed in a ARYA SAMAJ Temples duly authorized by DELHI ARYA PRATINIDHI SABHA

            After Marriage in an Authorized ARYA SAMAJ Temple, a duly signed valid Marriage Certificate is granted to the Newly Wed Couple.
