Delhi Arya Pratinidhi Sabha came in to the effect by splitting up of the former Punjab Sabha, under order passed by Sarvdeshik Arya Pratinidhi Sabha (Apex Body of Arya Samaj), in to three new Sabhas on 14-7-1975, for the proper functioning of Arya Samaj in those states.

            Since then, Delhi Arya Pratinidhi Sabha is working as the governing body of all Arya Samaj Temples and related institutions of Delhi State. It is affiliated to Sarvdeshik Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, New Delhi-2 .
